Cheltenham has finally landed itself a decent Italian restaurant, @boscopizzeria has just opened in the quadrangle this week and I was lucky enough to be invited down for a review visit. The interior was beautiful, staff super friendly and food DELISH!
Here’s what we ate:
Bruschetta Stracciatella
Wood roasted peppers, stracciatella & oregano
Arancini
Fried risotto with taleggio
🍕 Bosco Carne
Meatballs, tomato, fior di latte mozzarella,
coppa, prosciutto di parma & parmesan
🍕 Porchetta Bianca
Porchetta, finocchiona salame,
fior di latte mozzarella, mascarpone, caramelised onions, rosemary & pecorino
🍫 Torta al Cioccolato
Poached chocolate cake,
creme fraiche & amaretti crumbs
☕️ Tiramisu
Savoiardi biscuits, coffee,
chocolate & whipped mascarpone
All the food was amazing, our favourites had to be the bruschetta, white based pizza and the poached chocolate cake!
This gorgeous new restaurant is perfect for Saturday night dinner with friends or a chilled lunch in the sun on the outside terrace sipping an aperol ☀️
