Last night we were invited to dinner @bur.fordhousehotel – this cosy little Italian restaurant is situated within the hotel and had a lovely feel to it.
Here’s what we chose from the menu:
🍑 Honey glazed peach, prosciutto & feta salad with a honey vinaigrette
🫑 Mediterranean vegetable bruschetta with pesto & mozarella
🍝 Beef ragu tagliatelle with parmesan
🍗 Cornfed chicken supreme, wild mushroom and truffle croquettes, sweetcorn purée, roasted broccoli & a thyme jus (This was on the special board!)
🍰 Lemon meringue cheesecake (WOW this cheesecake was unbelievable🤤)
We had such a great evening, the staff were LOVELY and so attentive, I think that’s the beauty of having a smaller restaurant you felt really catered for and the food was homely & really tasty, I’m a huge pasta girl and the tagliatelle hit the spot! 🍝
