The Holdford Arms – Review

Bank holiday weekend dining @the_holford_arms 🍽️

After checking Into one of their cosy little chalets (view full reel of this affordable accomdation here) we headed back down to the pub for dinner and a few drinks.

We had a gorgeous table in front of the fire and here’s what we ate:

🐖 Pork belly bites

🥦 Buffalo grilled tenderstem broccoli, served with ranch dressing and cabbage slaw (such a creative & flavoursome veggie option we really really enjoyed this!)

🍗 Veal eacalope served with a lemon and caper butter sauce and garden greens

🐑 The Lamb Rump special

🍲Charred leek crumble

🍫 Caramelia chocolate ganache served with passion fruit gel; white chocolate shards and mango ice cream

Stand out dishes for us had to be the veal, that lemon butter and caper sauce I could have honestly drank by the bucket load. ALSO the charred leek crumble, absolutely delicious! The ganache pud was great too; the perfect way to finish the meal!
